Move that body: Post brunch 2-mile saunter
Happy Easter, chickadees!
I hope you are all having a blessed day filled with love, family and potatoes. Hooray for Lent being over!
I know it’s been a few days since I posted so let’s catch up!
I went for a 2.53-mile run yesterday with Mark and Denali. Fan-freakin’-tastic, let me tell you. It was 60 degrees, the grass was GREEN and flowers were blooming. I felt better than I have in a good two weeks as evidenced by my pace – 10:47 – which factors in two walk breaks totaling about a quarter-mile. During the running sections, I actually saw the upper 9s for most of the time!
On a side note: My thighs are definitely bigger in my preggo non-training world and I was blaming them 100% for my Tempos not fitting like they used to. It took me a good few minutes of tugging to realize the belly didn’t help either.
Packing. Lots and lots of packing. I’m sort of at the point where there’s not much I can do until we move. Right now, we’re tentatively set to close on Friday and move Saturday. Hells yeah!
Oh … and there was this:
A caramel roll served at brunch this morning. Thank you, Granite City.
AH! You look so good! And so does that caramel roll...
ReplyDeleteWow - just so you know, your 3rd trimester run pace is a good 3 minutes/mile faster than my normal pace. Way to go, rockstar!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're feeling better and that you had a great run - that REALLY had to be like a breath of fresh air (figuratively and literally - welcome spring!)
Closing on Friday - horray!!! That's fantastic - congrats. Will you have a "we'll miss you crappy neighbors" post?!?!? I'm super thrilled for your new chapter. Hope you'll share some photos of you new digs.
Will be thinking about you much this week and wishing you all the best!
Happy Easter!

That caramel roll looks amazing! I'm drooling.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My thighs are bigger in the prego world too!
