Oh, Indiana, your weather simply blows sometimes. <br />My treadmill workouts inevitably turn into progression runs Every. Damn. Time. Seeing that stupid little pace number makes me want to push it, faster and faster, and I usually end up at a 6:00/mile pace for the last minute before I cool down. I guess it's useful speedwork, but I will take outside running over treadmills 95% of the time... unless there's hellacious, cold wind. I am almost tempted to keep doing the fast workouts on the treadmill. It takes some of the math out, which is always good.Kimberly https://www.blogger.com/profile/08159387703524634028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-68164436444181614062014-03-13T16:59:14.761-04:002014-03-13T16:59:14.761-04:00HA! Long runs not so much. That said, when I had no choice but to do a 22 miler on the mill the first year I trained for Boston, I gained new respect for myself. Mills can suck but we can overcome and emerge stronger. But if winter would choose to die and I can run outside always, I'd be fine.Kimberly https://www.blogger.com/profile/08159387703524634028noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-37694705521270087702014-03-13T16:26:21.874-04:002014-03-13T16:26:21.874-04:00Ha! I don't know why they do that.Barihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14677387733194492488noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-28532505262860068062014-03-13T15:42:55.857-04:002014-03-13T15:42:55.857-04:00I like speed work on the treadmill, intervals to b...I like speed work on the treadmill, intervals to be exact, but I've managed to keep my running on the mill to a minimal this winter.
