Otherwise, I don't think it's such a bad vice to have.Leehttp://inmytummy.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-48578380641382100422012-01-11T11:08:44.335-05:002012-01-11T11:08:44.335-05:00I agree. But there are certain foods that just demand a carbonated beverage (popcorn is one for me). And since it's weird to drink beer in the afternoon, Coke Zero it is.Kelly Bentonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13382660766808930621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-21354272495155511152012-01-11T09:38:33.080-05:002012-01-11T09:38:33.080-05:00I love this post. When I switched to my healthier lifestyle I tried to cut it back to one can a day. Most days I have it with or right after dinner.

I do find that when I drink diet coke I get more "munchy" but since I drink it at night I will just go upstairs so food isn't as accessible. However, I am NOT willing to give up my Diet Coke so its just a side effect I will have to deal with. I can't say its my one vice, but one of my few. And it's so true that everyone has their vices; if Diet Coke's that one vice, then it can't really be that bad, right? There are far worse things to be addicted to.

Coincidentally, I started drinking DC about 10 years ago as well. I was in college, wanting to lose that "freshman 15", and thought, "hey, why not?" It tasted terrible then, but it's now become the nectar of the gods!Megan https://www.blogger.com/profile/02433882145530028479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-11560451151173221472012-01-10T22:28:07.277-05:002012-01-10T22:28:07.277-05:00I WISH it was diet soda I loved. When I trained for the half marathon last Spring I was down to every other day, but since the Fall I have been having one a day. I hate it, but it's sooo good. So, when someone makes you feel bad about it just think about me and all of the calories I drink with my DP everyday. :(Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00992265744485772093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-61133147579803052772012-01-10T21:36:13.020-05:002012-01-10T21:36:13.020-05:00This is so funny to read because my dad and I were...This is so funny to read because my dad and I were just having this conversation a few days ago. He has an hour commute to and from work and is a busy guy - and he is so serious about his 44 oz. diet cokes. Someone said something to him about it the other day and he went into the same rant. Doesn't smoke, rarely drinks, etc....just let him have his dang diet coke. :)Ashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16014126390410742402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6137646469767562765.post-57990759923905568282012-01-10T19:35:40.458-05:002012-01-10T19:35:40.458-05:00"C" and I are 100% supportive of your ad..."C" and I are 100% supportive of your addiction! So I cut it out completely. i switched over to Kombucha organic tea. It is naturally effervescent and so it gives me the bubbles I crave. Also, I tend to get addicted to caffeine, and I move into energy drink mode. I HATE being addicted and having to rely on anything for my body to function normally so I cut out all caffeine. But that is just what works for me!Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05486196626927904829noreply@blogger.com
